Wall Street Reform and CFPA Vote Set For This Week

December 7, 2009

The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote this week on H.R. 4173, the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2009.

The final form of the bill is still taking shape, and we urge Congress to pass a bill that will create meaningful financial reform and benefits all Americans, not just Wall Street.  The banks and others who  created the financial meltdown are working hard to keep the status quo.   But too much is at stake – and we know what happens when banks and Wall Street are left to police themselves!  Call your Representative today and tell them pass reforms that benefit all Americans.

Stay tuned for updates as H.R. 4173 is finalized.
