Student Loan Reform Passes House 253-171

This afternoon, the House passed the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act (SAFRA) by a vote of 253 – 171.  This is an important first step toward ending the FFEL Program and reforming student loans, and we appreciate all of you who responded to our recent requests to contact your members of Congress about this important issue.
