National Day of Action Tomorrow – 51 Locations

NCRC’s National Day of Action is tomorrow, June 11. Citizens will be calling for regulatory reforms and legislative action that will bring jobs and homes to communities hardest hit by the economic crisis.

A cornerstone of the Day of Action agenda is to get co-sponsors for HR 1479, the Community Reinvestment Modernization Act of 2009. AFFIL and hundreds of other organizations are supporting this bill (see this letter of support and PDF toolkit about CRA), which would promote sustainable lending in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.

Americans for Fairness in Lending
