Friday Bracket Update – AIG Wins!

May 8, 2009

Unsurprisingly, AIG has been crowned 2009’s Worst Company in America by the Consumerist.  AIG’s fantastic fall from grace was a key part of the financial meltdown, and much of its bailout money trickled sideways to banks like Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch.

And, the banks did pretty well themselves.  Bank of America made the Final Four, where it lost to Comcast in a tight race.  Ticketmaster—a perennial anti-favorite—knocked out Citibank in the Elite Eight.  See all the voting and discussion over at the Consumerist.
