Friday Bracket update: Banks struggling

April 17, 2009

They’ve got some tough matches in Round 2 of the “Worst Company in America” contest, and two banks may not pull through to Round Three.

Capitol One is losing to Comcast by a vote of 34% to 66%.  Comcast made the Final Four last year, and is always a tough contender.  Meanwhile, GM is beating Chase 57% to 43%.  This is not a bad showing by Chase, considering GM’s current reputation.

The “good” bank news is that Citibank is trouncing Sprint, 80% to 20%.  Still to come in Round 2:  Bank of America vs. Circuit City.

Visit the Consumerist to vote and discuss these match-ups.
