The New York Times: The Credit Card Trap

The New York Times published this editorial on Sunday, April 5, supporting Senator Dodd’s Credit CARD Act.  AFFIL and our Partners support this bill as well.  The NYT makes the point that although the Fed’s regulations will go into effect in 2010, consumers should not have to wait until then for help.

Furthermore, “Mr. Dodd, who has faced criticism for his role in bailout legislation that allowed executive bonuses, could help himself by holding firm on his credit card bill.”
