New Yahoo Group Opposed to Usury

A new Yahoo Group is gathering people together opposed to usury. You can visit the page and join up here. AFFIL is supporting a Senate bill (S. 500) which would cap interest rates at 36% across the nation – extending a protection to all Americans currently enjoyed by military personnel, and effectively eliminating high-cost payday and car title lending.

Americans for Fairness in Lending 
I have been searching for information on what should be the criminality of usury. Clearly the car title loans fall into this category. Those in most dire financial situations are the ones vulnerable to these unscrupulous “loans”. I would like to see these practices criminalized. I don’t want to see folks victimized by the “loan sharks” of today.
